Reiki Healing
Reiki Healing is an hour-long one-on-one energy healing ritual to re-balance the flow of universal life force around the body. In this personalised ritual, the practitioner channels Reiki into the patient to cleanse, treat, and energize the body mainly through consented touch. Reiki would then travel wherever the body needs healing the most. Distance / non-contact Reiki is also offered as an alternative.
A two syllable word with Japanese roots, Rei means universal, omnipresent–present everywhere at the same time. Esoterically, Rei means spiritual consciousness, the omniscient wisdom from the Divine Being or the higher self. Ki is the vitality, the life force, that gives life to all living things.
Essentially, the best way to understand how Reiki works is to experience it.
